The mission of Rain Barrels Iowa is to provide rain barrels for the home gardener. Our rain barrels are unique in their SUPERIOR SPIGOTTING & SCREENING - No other company makes rain barrels to last like these. You do not install your own spigots - we do it for you, and we do it right. Our rain barrels are repurposed food shipping barrels, not from barrels used for harmful chemicals. They came to this country filled with Mediterranean produce, and we pulled them out of the refuse stream to make them into sturdy rain barrels.
Our immediate goals are to provide great rain barrels at an affordable cost, along with sturdy stands and accessories to facilitate their use. The widespread use of rain barrels will increase the harvesting of rain water. We promote fresh produce gardening to increase sustainable living, while decreasing water bills and storm water runoff. Styles vary from those pictured.
From the first time you use water from your first barrel, we predict you will increase your awareness not only of outside water use, but also of your in-home water usage, and will enjoy conserving water. We danced when we harvested our first rainwater! Order from Rain Barrels Iowa today, and experience for yourself the many uses free rainwater is superior!
